Experience & Expertise

In my career and training, I’ve gained extensive experience in psychotherapy, psychological assessment, interdisciplinary medical consultation, community mental health care, crisis evaluation, and inpatient psychiatric intervention from an integrative psychodynamic framework. The opportunity to serve in so many roles has enriched my understanding of the human condition, as I draw from these experiences regularly in my work with patients, students, and other providers.

My private practice is dedicated to insight-oriented psychotherapy with individuals and couples alike. I find the most lasting and meaningful change comes with the development of a curiosity about one’s inner world, patterns in living, and interpersonal relationships. Therefore, I prioritize attending to these elements in all of my work as a psychologist. In addition to therapy, I also maintain a small assessment practice through which I help patients and other providers find answers to a variety of diagnostic and psycho-social questions.

Another of my professional passions is the training, teaching, and supervision of students and junior colleagues. I’ve served as an adjunct clinical supervisor for trainees at the Pennsylvania Hospital's APA-approved Clinical Psychology internship program, and also offer private supervision to those seeking additional education and support in their clinical work.
